Aging-resistant, corrosion-resistant glass wool, fire-proof and flame-retardant glass wool board, building exterior wall insulation, glass wool products manufacturer
Introduction to glass wool: Glass wool is a glass wool roll felt product made by melting glass, fiberizing it, and adding a binder to solidify it. The diameter of the glass wool fiber depends on the centrifugal extrusion technology.
Advantages of glass wool:
1. Sound absorption and noise reduction, which can effectively prevent the spread of sound. The construction is simple and can be cut at will.
2. Antibacterial and anti-mildew, resistant to aging and corrosion, ensuring a healthy environment.
3. Class A/1 fireproof, permanently non-combustible.
4. Low-grade moisture resistance, high durability
Glass wool is widely used in the insulation and insulation of equipment and pipelines in electric power, petroleum, chemical industry, light industry, metallurgy and other industries.
Tips on thermal insulation:
1. Equipment, pipelines and accessories that meet any of the following conditions must be insulated according to different requirements:
The external surface temperature is higher than 50℃ and the heat dissipation loss needs to be reduced.
Those who require anti-freeze, anti-condensation or delayed media condensation.
Parts that do not require thermal insulation during process production and whose outer surface temperature exceeds 60°C and where other measures cannot be taken to prevent burns to personnel.
2. When the ambient temperature is not higher than 27°C, the outer surface temperature of the equipment and pipeline insulation structure should not exceed 50°C. When the ambient temperature is higher than 27°C, the surface temperature of the equipment and pipeline insulation structure can be 25°C higher than the ambient temperature.
Ambient temperature refers to the air temperature measured 1m away from the outer surface of the insulation structure.
3. Installation precautions:
Shengyuan glass wool can be directly fixed on the surface of the equipment that requires thermal insulation (flat or curved surface) through prefabricated pins or iron wires.
The thermal insulation material is added with a metal sheet as a protective layer. The joints of the metal sheet protective layer should be staggered with the joints of the thermal insulation material to avoid thermal bridges and heat loss.
When the surface temperature of the insulated equipment exceeds 350°C, it is recommended to use high-temperature glass wool and aluminum silicate composite insulation to reduce heat loss and thermal bridges at the joints of single-layer insulation materials.
