1. Appearance impurities
Looking at the content of impurities on the surface of refractory bricks, we often see some black spots on the surface of refractory bricks. These are the impurities in the raw materials. Theoretically, the fewer impurities, the better. Because these impurities are mostly iron oxides. In the high temperature environment of the kiln, it is simply reduced to molten iron flowing out, resulting in damage to the refractory brick structure, and then affecting the service life of the refractory brick.
2. Appearance color and appearance lubricity
When we see a refractory brick, we first see its appearance, color and lubricity. When the quality of some refractory bricks is not good, the lubricity of the exterior will be poor, and the strength of the refractory brick will not work.
The uniformity of the appearance and color of the refractory brick shows whether the materials are evenly mixed during the production of the refractory brick. The uneven distribution of the materials will result in an uneven distribution of the strength of the refractory brick and reduce the overall strength and service life of the refractory brick.
